1. Getting up a bit earlier than usual due to Dan working from home.
2. Getting extra index cards from ELV to finish off writing up notecards for my talk (even though I didn't use them at all later).
3. Getting a lot of really, really good feedback on my talk for RailsConf--both in that it was in a good place currently but also very useful suggestions for improvements.
4. Impromptu happy hour with our team's Kraken rum in the lunch room.
5. Coming home to find that Dan had vacuumed.
6. Watching the Call the Midwife Christmas special.
