1. Getting a batch of beans into the slow cooker.
2. Reading Tooth and Claw.
3. Having some corn when I was in the mood for a lighter lunch.
4. Having one more onion left for Dan's new chicken recipe.
5. My mom bringing luro over and getting to see Nico on his balance bike.
6. Finding out that everyone else was behind on book club reading as well, so we rescheduled for next week.

1. Learning that new installments in the Lady Sherlock and Truly Devious series had been published.
2. Taking a shower and washing my hair.
3. Quiet morning with Nico getting back later.
4. Going on a walk to the duplex open house with Mattie taking her second nap in the stroller.
5. Getting to the Tinkergarden demo play date on time despite re-parking.
6. Indulging in reading the new Lady Sherlock.

1. Going back to bed with Mattie's first nap.
2. Mattie taking a short second nap on her own so I could nurse her before heading out.
3. Getting out to the diner to meet up with Nico/Dan/RC/VC with Mattie in the carrier.
4. Beautifully sunny day out.
5. Making it to Pilates class.
6. Taking a shower and washing my hair.

1. Dan taking Mattie in the morning to let me sleep more.
2. Getting a shower with washing my hair in during even a short nap.
3. Making it to soup dumplings with my sister and her friends.
4. Our grandma and my sister's friends coming over to hang out.
5. Nico not really needing much additional food later despite the early dinner.
6. Not too tough an evening despite stretching waketimes longer than usual.

1. Feeling well-rested enough to take Nico to school.
2. Making dumplings for brunch.
3. Rainbow shawl looking loads better after ripping back the bindoff and fitting another two rows of garter stitch in.
4. Didn't take too long to finish up cooking the fried rice, so I could fit in an afternoon nap still.
5. Getting invited over for a Chinese play date.
6. Finding the tools to block the shawl without too much digging needed.

1. Getting bagels in the morning.
2. A 4 year old at the playground sharing her chalk with Nico and not minding his drawing near her drawing.
3. Taking a nap when Nico took a nap.
4. Going to a dinner meetup of the local moms group and having a good time.
5. Burrata pizza and flourless chocolate cake for dinner.
6. Not too much work to replace the top drawer spring locks with magnetic ones instead.

1. BS coming a bit earlier than usual.
2. Wrapping up this week's midwife appointment pretty quickly.
3. Getting home in plenty of time for afternoon meetings after someone else joined the training in my spot.
4. Having corn with butter and Cajun seasoning for lunch.
5. Virtual Social Happy Hour with happyplace folks.
6. Dan blowing up my yoga ball for me of his own volition.

2. VC's birthday party having been moved indoors.

4. Nico enjoying playing with Dan's old Hess trucks.
5. Another more normal, having fun with dumping water bathtime.
6. Winning at Pandemic again.

1. Making it to the train station with a minute to spare.
2. Pleasantly surprised that the Amtrak ride was very comfortable even in coach class, with power outlets and the row to myself.
3. Excellent food at CH's baby shower.
4. Amtrak getting back into NY Penn early enough for me to get home before bathtime.
5. Dan and Nico picking me up from the train station.
6. Rolling out the new living room carpet.

2. Having time to eat lunch between afternoon meetings.
3. Getting consensus quickly on my work meeting. 
4. Catching a mistake I made on our budget spreadsheet.
5. Booking tickets to go to CH's baby shower.
6. Finally getting to watch Always Be My Maybe.

1. Going to the Metuchen Spring Street Fair and chatting with folks from a hair salon and a roller derby league.
2. My dad coming over to advise on a few different house fixes.
3. Installing a window AC unit into our bedroom.
4. Making it over to the library to pick up books on hold.
5. Dan taking Nico out of his room while I took a quick nap in Nico's air-conditioned room.
6. Remembering to book a hair appointment online to take advantage of the special from the street fair.

2. Being able to dial in to another podcast recording.
3. Architecture review meeting ending early.
4. Remembering I could use Citi Thank You Points to reduce the cost of the flights to/fromt Austin.
5. Making social plans for the next couple trips.
6. Quickly pulling together more bins of kitchen stuff for Dan to take up.

2. Taking my Scholar out to Grand Central Market for lunch.
3. Running into people I didn't get a chance to talk enough with the day before.
4. Going to Parks BBQ again!
5. Hanging out with KN/MW. 
6. Finding karaoke rooms with enthusiastic groups.

1. Getting to the house tour appointment on time.
2. Having some down time in the afternoon.
3. Marinating chicken for tomorrow's dinner and making chicken en adobo in the Instant Pot while Dan's mom was visiting.
4. Dan realizing that Nico couldn't fall asleep because he was too warm in the car seat with pants on.
5. Everyone being very friendly at Dan's dad's barbecue.
6. Bedtime routine going smoothly even with the outing.

2. Reading and laughing from the Ugly Volvo's book, Welcome to the Club: 100 Parenting Milestones You Never Saw Coming.
3. KS and ES really getting into the Hungry Caterpillar theme with a special cake and balloons.
4. Birthday party going really well even with only using the common space and not the billiards room.
5. Also taking a nap during Nico's second nap.
6. Organizing the new and old toys.

1. Making it to the Yardley Farmers Market on the opening hours side of things.
2. Successfully keeping Nico awake until we got home.
3. Getting a workout done during the nap.
4. Having an extra grits box to use for the milk bags we were delivering.
5. Visiting RC/AB again, this time with the pop-up playard to minimize destruction.
6. Dan's Hungarian egg noodles with chicken turning out really well.

5. Getting to lie down on a couch in the dark to rest a bit after the reception.
6. People at karaoke being really into it.

2. Hanging out with other people while working on a jigsaw puzzle in the lounge.
3. Videochatting with Dan and Nico during my mid-afternoon pump session.
4. Inviting myself along to get soup dumplings with RS and CA.
5. Getting a bubble tea from Boba Guys.
6. Finding out that LA was staying at the same hotel at the work party was at and stopping by her room to visit.
