- Getting the ketchup and 2nd batch of tomato sauce started up in the slow cookers first thing in the morning.
- Opening up two items from the last canning swap, blueberries in lavender syrup and blackberry jam.
- Completing all my lifts at the gym, even though they were feeling quite heavy.
- Maldon salt happening to be on sale at New Seasons.
- Having the last of the pesto on toast to tide me over before the slow roasted chicken was done.
- Finishing canning the box of tomatoes at long last.

- Making it to the tool library just in time before they closed.
- Grand Central Bakery still having the kalamata olive, campagnolo, and ciabatta breads that I wanted.
- Making a panzanella salad for dinner.
- Having just enough sugar left to set up tomorrow's batch of spiced baked plum butter.
- Not taking too long to cook down the plum butter and tomato sauce on the stovetop after being in slow cookers for most of the day.

- Weekly demo meeting going smoothly.
- Sitting with a different group of people than usual at early lunch.
- Having the yogurt I would have had for breakfast as a late afternoon snack.
- Heading out from the office at 6 after I had nothing left to do for the day.
- Getting to the gym with enough time before they closed at 10.
- Lounging on the couch and watching random Law & Order episodes on TV.

- Picking up purple garlic at the farmer's market.
- Resisting the urge to buy more fruit.

- Figuring out a rough plan for canning all the tomatoes.
- Going to bed early.

- Not feeling too tired throughout the day, despite not sleeping well due to allergies.
- Making it to the Tool Library before they closed.
- Getting home safely with the 12' fruit picker.
- Picking 2 large bowls of plums.
- Dan bringing home a watermelon!
- Washing up the pears and plums and finding that most of it was quite good still.

- Tackling some changes on my own instead of having to pair to figure them out.
- Dropping off The Mists of Avalon at the library on the way home after I forgot on the way to work in the morning.
- Dan only doing an 8 hour day and getting groceries to make up for the busy weekend.
- Dan's mom and other Dan coming to bar trivia with us.
- Tying for top score going into the final round, so we could put in Springsteen as a player-chosen round for next week.
- Going to bed pretty early after coming home from trivia.

- Getting a good start to the day from not sleeping in.
- Having the whole place to myself for the day.
- Improvised CSA cabbage, meat CSA smoked sausage, and diced tomato stew working out surprisingly well.
- Going lifting! The gym actually had a bench press bench that's actually low enough to the ground that I didn't need to prop my feet up on anything.
- Getting 2 loads laundry done.
- Dan's mom taking us out the Italian-American place that Dan had wanted to try for awhile.

- Going on another bike fruit harvest, this time with plums and pears.
- Lunch of tomato slices with pesto on toast.
- Plenty of blooms still out at the International Rose Test Garden.
- Making up a burst tomato galette for dinner, which Dan's mom seemed to enjoy.
- Making up two batches of plum jam.
- Having the straw mat in easy reach when I was too hot and needed to sleep on the floor to cool down.

- Sticking to easy code changes for Friday afternoon.
- Catching up with ELV a bit at her birthday happy hour.
- Significantly cooling off outside for the 2nd half of my bike ride home.
- Just about enough time to throw the remaining clutter into the basement before heading to the airport.

- Dan's mom in good spirits and having a good first impression of Portland.

- Making it in on time for a 9am 1:1 with a couple minutes to spare.
- Having breakfast at the office for the first time in awhile, since I got in so (relatively) early.

- Snagging more potatoes, corn, and tomatoes from leftover CSA boxes.
- Walking over to the PDX Girl Develop It launch party with KY and KM.
- Having microwaved ears of corn with just butter, salt, and pepper for dinner.

- Making a dinner of slices of CSA heirloom tomato on CSA basil pesto and mozzarella on toast.
- Dan getting me a new watermelon from Costco.

- Figuring out a way to arrange my pashmina so I wouldn't risk wardrobe malfunctions.
- Outdoor wedding ceremony being on a shaded patio.

- Accidentally going to a Mexican grocery store and checking the unusual-to-us items there.
- Dan's family being really happy to see him.

- Disney movie marathon on TV: The Little Mermaid, Mulan, Tangled.
- Putting together a pretty good dinner with the rolls, carnitas from the supermarket, and leftover potato pickles salad.

- Having a late breakfast at home before biking in to work.
- Getting the PDX Burger Week burger from Mi Mero Mole: pork-chorizo patty, with a bacon-wrapped chile relleno on top!
- Making more pesto from the extra basil I'd picked up.
- Fitting a cookie sheet into the freezer to freeze cherry tomatoes.
- Not staying up too late to pack.

- Being able to return an item to Nordstrom despite forgetting the paper receipt.
- Picking up a foundation and brush from Sephora.

- Feeling less stressed after deciding to skip board game night.

- Brunch at Ned Ludd, with delicious grilled blueberry muffins and corn pancakes.
- Two garage sales just across the street from us, picked up a couple baskets to organize my stuff at work.
- Getting through all my cooking projects (blanching peaches to macerate in fridge for a few days, double chocolate banana bread, tabbouli, sauerkraut, potato-zucchini frittata) without making the kitchen too hot.
- Picking quite a few plums from the plum tree, even with only having a short ladder to be able to reach up.
- Figuring out how to fit everything into the fridge, including the slow cooker insert.
- Getting Dan to drop me off at Powell's after the Goodwill run so I could do some browsing.

- Finding a bunch of fruit flies in the fruit fly trap.

- Discovering a Rainbow Rowell book that I hadn't read yet, and getting it for just $1.99 on Amazon.

- Getting a flat of peaches at the farmer's market for $20.
- Successfully getting all those peaches home without significantly bruising or crushing them.
- Reading Rainbow Rowell's Landline.

- Apartment was actually below 80 degrees in the morning!
- Eventually succeeding in getting the heatmap color gradient into the legend.
- Making it to the August meeting of the Portland Preservation Society.
- Getting my top choices at the trade, including a raspberry gin and various syrups with vanilla and lavender.
- Lots of interest in my pickled sweet cherries! And I thought they wouldn't go at all.
- Hitting 10k steps thanks to the walk out for lunch, an afternoon walk to the smoothie shop, and biking to/from work and to/from the PPS meeting.

- Demo going well, lots of praise for how much the team's accomplished.
- Talking to LM, a family friend, about getting an engineering job.
- Having a fun time at AB/L's going-away BBQ.
- Discovering grilled haloumi to be delicious!
- Bringing home a bunch of the pantry stuff that AB/L were giving away, including pretty much their entire vinegar collection.
