- Getting an economy plus seat for the flight to Chicago due to a family wanting to sit together.
- Surprisingly wide spread of movies on United’s wifi, had a fun time watching trailers.
- Cubano sandwich from Rick Bayless place being actually really good, and only $6.
- Plenty of outlets at O’Hare, enough to fully charge my phone and laptop both during the layover.
- Middle seat in my row being empty for the 8 hour Chicago-Brussels flight.
- Watching the Lego movie, American Hustle, and Across the Universe (for the music).

- Wearing my new light brown sweater dress with brown leggings and cowboy boots, very comfortable outfit.
- Getting a plug adapter kit from IT.
- Remembering to print out directions for my trip while still at the office.
- Having for dinner what I had brought for lunch.
- Remembering to transfer the frozen blanched vegetables to freezer bags.
- Finding the sunflower quilt and travel blanket after being unsuccessful when I went looking last week.

- Frying up some bacon and eggs to go with toast for a full breakfast.
- Catching up with my BC friends over a Google Hangout for the first time in a couple months.
- Much larger harvest that I'd expected of the Swiss chard I'd been growing, and I even left some of the smaller stalks on there still to see how long they'd last on their own.
- Getting a couple laundry loads done.
- Sous vide pork chops turning out splendidly, even Dan liked them.
- Thinking of frying up the CSA turnips in the leftover butter from browning the pork chops.

- Sleeping in until after noon.
- Buying the latest Tana French mystery novel, The Secret Place.
- Spending all afternoon on the couch reading.
- Dan making chicken stew for dinner.
- Dan doing all the dishes.
- Watching Cheaper By the Dozen (the original from 1950).

- Microwaved corn for lunch.
- Figuring out how to copy over production data to my local database.
- Doing a practice run-through of my talk with AK and really starting to think about how to adapt it for next week.
- Getting a burrito from Santeria as I was suddenly very hungry.
- Happy hour at secret Bailey's and getting to know RC better.
- Staying up late reading Broken Harbor, just because.

- Remembering I needed to get in to the office in time for my 1:1.
- Getting to try out the dumpling food truck over at the big carts for lunch.
- Writing tests for the method I'd been fixing actually not being too bad.
- Deciding to stay in for the evening instead of going to the gym, after having gone out for coffee to meet a new developer.
- Spending the evening re-reading Alif the Unseen.
- Going to bed early.
