9/7/11

1. Chair massage with AS. He's still the best combo of strong but targeted pressure.
2. Remembering to grab extra food from lunch for dinner, and the chicken sofrito from the burrito bar being surprisingly good even when cold. Possibly due to all food tasting better when you're hungry.
3. My mom seeming to have a really great time at the NY Philharmonic's live performance of the score for West Side Story while they played the movie with the original lyrics on the big screen.
4. Several of the original cast members and producers of the movie being in attendance! Most notably Russ Tamblyn (Rif, and Amber Tamblyn's dad) and George Chakiris (Bernardo).
5. Nobody giving me dirty looks for stashing a big umbrella at my feet or for taking off my rainboots during the second half when my feet were getting overheated in all the rubber.
6. Rainboots and umbrella coming in handy for a few random heavy downpours in the evening.
