1. Successfully getting myself from the Brussels airport to the hotel in Ghent.
2. Napping and showering at the hotel.
3. Really nice day in Ghent, only partly cloudy with blue skies and very comfortable temperature
4. Successfully finding my way to the church with the Van Eyck painting and getting there 20 min before they closed for the day.
5. Walking up to the belfry tower to hear the 5:30 bells chime from the top.
6. Getting a nicely large portion size pasta for dinner after not having eaten for awhile.
