1. Showering off the grime from traveling.
2. Not too hot or humid out in Bradenton.
3. Being able to be there for Dan and his family as they mourned.
4. Actually a pretty decent toasted sandwich with cold cuts from Quiznos (helped by my addition of banana peppers and pepperoncini from their fixings bar).
5. No questions asked to check my bag at the gate.
6. Starting to read Sandi Metz’ book, Practical Object-Oriented Design in Ruby.

A year ago today.
