1. Getting out of the lodge in plenty of time in the morning before our day-long tour.
2. Our tour guide/bus driver on the Tundra Wilderness Tour having a dark sense of humor.
3. Seeing a bear (!) not too long into the 8-hour long tour.
4. Catching a glimpse of Mt. McKinley through the clouds.
5. Seeing a good number more animals, though the closest was a moose along the highway on the drive back to Anchorage.
6. Being right about the killer in Birds of a Feather, which we finished during the drive back.
