1. Pleasant seawalk bike trail in Stanley Park and comfortable 1-speed bikes.
2. Didn't die in the head-on bike crush with some hipster dude with an $800 bike going way too fast on a public bike trail.
3. Pretty good spot in front of a bus stop to view the parade.
4. A Star Wars club in the Canada Day parade.
5. Didn't wait too long in the line to get into the restaurant for dinner, even though they initially said it would be 30-40 minutes.
6. An attentive and smart waitress at dinner that actually won over Dan's trust concerning potential allergens in their food.
