7/30/11

  1. Getting up early for a Saturday and making to the Met in time to be the second group allowed in to the Alexander McQueen exhibit. By the time I left, the wait in line was 2.5 hours.
  2. Really well done exhibit, good use of different media, rotating outfits so you could see the whole thing, wind machine to show the movement, videos, etc. And of course, the clothes are just ridiculous and amazing.
  3. Excellent pizzamaking class, the instructor was really knowledgeable, the setup was great, and I had a great time with AB as my pizzamaking partner.
  4. Sending off for AL at Pete & Elda's with Dan, AB, CP, and me.
  5. Going to the shore at Ocean Grove and getting ice cream in perfect summer weather--warm but not humid, with a sea breeze.
  6. Lying on the beach looking at the stars with all these old high school friends, and then remembering we could use the Google Sky Map app on our phones to identify constellations.
A year ago today.
