- Remembering to catch last week's Doctor Who episode in the afternoon.
- Finally trying out the 3-D SET game that AL got us from Comic-Con.
- Dan getting The Adjustment Bureau out from Redbox. I had a good time watching it with him at home, since it was enjoyable enough use of the time, plot moved along quickly enough, but we could also make cracks about the hats.
9/9/11
- Catching a bit of sleep on both flights back.
- Being able to fit the stuff I needed on the flight into my purse when they forced me to check my carry on bag on the second flight.
- Roasted almonds available for purchase on the longer flight so I wasn't totally starving on the way back.
- Watching an episode of Jeeves and Wooster to pass the time before my laptop's battery died.
- Getting home before Dan, even, so had the entire evening to settle back in after my whirlwind trip.
- Making a dinner of just carrot fries and avocado.
9/8/11
- Dan not minding how I kept waking him up every couple hours with needing to pack and then needing to leave after two hours of sleep.
- Knocking myself out with Dramamine and sleeping pretty much the whole flight to Phoenix.
- Attending the client meeting and finding the clients to be really genial and open to our suggestions.
- Learning more about ML through one of the clients asking him a lot of questions.
- Fancy steak dinner! Served on a 500 degree plate sizzling and really accommodating about my request not to have butter on anything.
- BG giving me a ride to the hotel in her rental car so I wouldn't have to feel bad about another expensive cab ride.
9/7/11
- Chair massage with AS. He's still the best combo of strong but targeted pressure.
- Remembering to grab extra food from lunch for dinner, and the chicken sofrito from the burrito bar being surprisingly good even when cold. Possibly due to all food tasting better when you're hungry.
- My mom seeming to have a really great time at the NY Philharmonic's live performance of the score for West Side Story while they played the movie with the original lyrics on the big screen.
- Several of the original cast members and producers of the movie being in attendance! Most notably Russ Tamblyn (Rif, and Amber Tamblyn's dad) and George Chakiris (Bernardo).
- Nobody giving me dirty looks for stashing a big umbrella at my feet or for taking off my rainboots during the second half when my feet were getting overheated in all the rubber.
- Rainboots and umbrella coming in handy for a few random heavy downpours in the evening.

- Lounging around for most of the day working on sewing projects and having the TV on (Star Wars, NCIS, How I Met Your Mother marathons).

- Getting complimented by Dan's younger sisters on my style.
- Green bean and cherry tomato salad coming together pretty easily (while watching How the States Got Their Shapes, good and even educational background TV!) and going over pretty well at the barbecue.

- Remembering to pull out a chicken from the freezer for making roast chicken this weekend.
